About  foser

The Friends of Little League’s Southeastern Region (FOSER) is a non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of Georgia and a Section 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. FOSER has been created by the 86 volunteer District Administrators within the eight states of Little League’s Southeastern Region.  While an independent organization, FOSER exists to support regional Little League Baseball and Softball activities and especially the work of thousands of volunteers.

These volunteers run the nearly 800 local Little Leagues in the region and make it possible for boys and girls from age 4 to 18 to play baseball and softball in neighborhoods and communities throughout the southeastern United States.  Volunteers also administer the Little League Challenger Division, which provides opportunities for children with physical and mental challenges to enjoy baseball.

FOSER is administered by a board consisting of two District Administrator representatives from each of the eight states of the Southeastern Region – Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia – who are elected by their peers and serve on a volunteer basis.  District Administrators are among the highest-ranking volunteer officials in Little League, and support the year-round work of leagues in their areas.  The Region Director of Little League Baseball also serves on the Board.
